This piece was written for my Serge Modular Music System in the spring of 1978. It was performed that spring in a concert program that included Jon Appleton, Alan Strange, Barry Schrader, and many other notable electronic composers of the era. Forgotten Memories was given my first positive reviews, being written up in the Los Angeles Times, High Fidelity Magazine, and Synapse Magazine.
A very special thank you to Kevin Fortune for his efforts in resurrecting my Serge this past year, and also to RC Hoffman and Matthias Herrmann, who created the Random*Source Eurorack Serge Modules, which contribute 50% of the sonics in this patch.
